Chop Shop BBQ Pork Ribs with Sweet and Spicy Glaze
Tender, fall-off-the-bone pork ribs slathered in a homemade glaze, perfect for a backyard barbecue—with our very own Chop Shop rib rub
Ingredients:
- 2 racks of pork ribs (St. Louis or baby back, from The Chop Shop)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp Chop Shop Seasoning, Our very own Chop Shop rib rub
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust for heat preference)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 300°F.
- Rub the ribs with olive oil and Chop Shop Seasoning. Wrap tightly in foil and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 2.5-3 hours until tender.
- Meanwhile, in a saucepan, combine ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, honey, smoked paprika, and cayenne. Simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high (about 400°F). Unwrap ribs, brush with glaze, and grill for 5-7 minutes per side, basting with more glaze until caramelized.
- Slice and serve with coleslaw or grilled veggies.
