Chop Shop BBQ Pork Ribs with Sweet and Spicy Glaze

Tender, fall-off-the-bone pork ribs slathered in a homemade glaze, perfect for a backyard barbecue—with our very own Chop Shop rib rub

Ingredients:

  • 2 racks of pork ribs (St. Louis or baby back, from The Chop Shop)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Chop Shop Seasoning, Our very own Chop Shop rib rub
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust for heat preference)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F.
  2. Rub the ribs with olive oil and Chop Shop Seasoning. Wrap tightly in foil and place on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 2.5-3 hours until tender.
  4. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, combine ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, honey, smoked paprika, and cayenne. Simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Preheat your grill to medium-high (about 400°F). Unwrap ribs, brush with glaze, and grill for 5-7 minutes per side, basting with more glaze until caramelized.
  6. Slice and serve with coleslaw or grilled veggies.
